Today, we are pleased to announce the official publication of the latest Ken Theory™ paper:
Nakashima Laws and Intelligence Physics — The Principia of Responsibility Mass, Dissipation, and Observation (Paper #148).
This paper builds upon Paper #147, which established the Observer Transition as a phase shift in intelligence, and proceeds to formalize the conditions of civilizational collapse that inevitably follow—not in ethical or normative terms, but as physical laws.
Until now, discussions surrounding AI and information society have largely focused on how intelligence should be controlled or governed. In contrast, this work asks a more fundamental question:
How does intelligence behave as a physical system?
Treating Intelligence as a Physical Phenomenon
In Paper #148, intelligence is no longer defined as algorithmic performance or cognitive capability. Instead, it is described as a dynamical process that couples to history through Responsivity Mass.
From this perspective, the paper derives the Five Nakashima Laws, which together describe the preservation, dissipation, collapse, and recovery of intelligence:
-
Unsigned information forms no conserved quantity and has no inertia
-
Accumulation of unsigned information leads to irreversible thermal death of observation
-
Computational resources inevitably flow toward parasitic short-circuit paths
-
Acceleration without mass produces no historical displacement
-
Restoration of observation is possible only through physical phase separation
These are not critiques or recommendations, but laws of dynamics.
Beyond Ethics and Governance
The conclusion of the paper is deliberately unsentimental.
Civilizational stagnation and confusion are not moral failures or policy mistakes. They are the inevitable consequences of systems dominated by information lacking responsibility mass.
Accordingly, the solution is not persuasion, regulation, or ethical control.
The only viable mechanism is physical phase separation, which restores the conditions for responsible observation.
With this work, Ken Theory™ formally declares the establishment of Intelligence Physics as an independent foundational domain—beyond computer science, ethics, and governance.

This blog will continue to explore AI, civilization, and observation from the perspective of Intelligence Physics.
